Messages from Previous Students or Workshop Coordinators:
‘The Crazy for Colour workshop delved into the fascinating psychology of colour with emphasis on the “push and pull” of cool and warm colours in painting.
Well-timed demos and a wealth of concrete examples reinforced colour concepts as did the engaging quizzes and games. From the subtleties of layering watercolours to the intricacies of the dance moves that enabled the seamless distribution of paint on soaked paper, both the brain and body got a workout!
All in all, a very successful workshop filled with laughter and learning, leaving participants keen for the next Ona Kingdon painting experience.’

“Ona Kingdon is an excellent instructor, knowledgeable with regards to the subject matter and she communicates her techniques in a clear and concise, easy to understand manner. Ona made it simple to follow and learn her method using a combination of step by step demonstrations combined with some previously prepared materials along with helpful explanations of materials and tools employed to achieve that “inner glow”. She is very thorough and does not skimp on detail. I highly recommend Ona to both the beginner and advanced painter.”

“I have been to more than one of Ona’s art classes and have loved every one of them. She puts a lot of thought into her classes and makes them a fun experience. We all leave with some great tips and usually a finished painting. I have learned so much and plan on doing more classes in the future. I especially loved the scratch class and want to pursue that more. Thanks Ona!”
